Our story
Northern Lights began as independent conservators collaborating to support each other with larger projects, and has expanded into a small team of highly skilled individuals, each bringing a wealth of experience, knowledge and talent. Our journey started with a simple goal: to protect historic stained glass in a dynamic and sustainable way that worked for us. Today, we are proud to have conserved countless stained-glass windows across the North of England and beyond. We are now a limited company co-directed by long standing colleagues and friends, supported by core staff and a pool of specialists.
We are committed to maintaining the highest professional standards and our team includes an Icon Accredited Conservator (ACR) as well as two conservators on the pathway to becoming accredited (PACR). We also have the privilege of enjoying a close collaboration with other studios across the U.K, allowing us the flexibility to undertake projects of any size and scope.
